Product Queries

What’s a "parabolic curve"?

A parabola is a U-shaped curve. We used this shape on our PuttOUT as it funnels ‘made’ putts into the centre to return them straight to the player. This also means ‘missed’ putts going up the ramp will fall off the side, mimicking a lip-out.

Why does the micro-target only hold putts that would have traveled 18-inches past?

We looked at research and found that the most common ‘perfect miss’ perception is a putt that would have missed 18-inches past the hole (based on percentages of the ball falling in/not deviating). With this research, we designed the product to follow suit.

Why is the mat 10 on the stimp reading?

Through going to multiple greenkeepers, based on the average green speeds we decided 10 on the stimp metre would be a fair test for golfers of all levels, of all different standard of courses.

How do I ensure I keep a smooth roll on my putting mat?

Always keep your mat rolled up and out of the way when not using it to avoid dust, pet hair, or general grit getting into the surface of the product.

If your putting mat's surface ever builds any imperfections, simply brush the mat with your hands to smooth out the fibres and get them back to their absolute best.

Can I use a vacuum cleaner on my putting mat?

You absolutely can, but to ensure your mat stays at its peak it's best to keep it rolled up and stored to avoid general wear and tear.

Are the products all designed in London?

They are! Since our first product launch in 2017, our HQ has been based in the very centre of London, just 30-seconds off Tottenham Court Road.
