What is included when I buy AirBreak Max?
You will receive:
- A fully assembled AirBreak Max platform including all air wedges, hinges, the automatic ball returners (batteries included) and the ball stop barrier
- A putting mat that rolls out onto the platform packaged in a drawstring bag
- A stand-on podium and two pairs of risers for adjusting the height of the podium
- A printed user guide
You also have access to the PuttOUT Green-Reading App.
Do I have to assemble AirBreak Max myself?
The AirBreak Max platform comes fully assembled. This means that on delivery all you need to do is unfold the base, unpack the pumps, unroll the mat, place it on the base and you're good to go!
How big is AirBreak Max?
When unfolded, AirBreak Max is 83.4cm (2.75ft) wide and 358cm (11.75ft) in length. The podium is 40cm (16") wide and 60cm (2ft) in length.
Can I fold AirBreak Max away?
Yes. AirBreak Max has been designed to conveniently fold away. When the base is folded up and the mat is rolled up, it's footprint will be 83.4cm (2.7ft) in length and 27cm (10.5") in depth and 59.6cm (2ft) in height.
Can I stand on AirBreak Max while using it?
This is where Max is a little different to the standard AB. Whilst we do recommend that most putts are hit whilst stood on the podium, due to the extra width, there are some putts that can be hit whilst fully stood on the platform.
AirBreak should not be stood on at a point where nearby pumps are inflated, as it has been designed to flex when stood on.
However, when stood at the end of the mat, if you are happy to keep the first 4 pumps (2 each side) deflated and flat to the ground, using the remaining 8 pumps to create your breaks, then the AirBreak Max platform can be stood on whilst putting.
What will I do if one of the parts in my AirBreak Max gets damaged?
AirBreak Max is built for long-term use, and if anything ever gets damaged, we’ll help you get back up and running. Every component is replaceable — just contact us and we’ll arrange the spare part you need.
What is the maximum slope AirBreak Max can create?
AirBreak Max can create up to an 8% side slope (i.e. left-to-right or right-to-left). AirBreak Max can create a continuous uphill or downhill slope (i.e. along the whole length of the platform) of up to 3%. AirBreak Max can also create uphill or downhill slope of up to 8% across a single platform panel.
How do I access the AirBreak green-reading app?
iPhone users - the AirBreak green-reading app can now be downloaded for free from the iOS App Store here. This is a free-to-use app for all golfers. Whether you have purchased AirBreak or not, you are able to download, start measuring your breaking putts and become a better green-reader!
Android users - rest assured we are working hard on the Android version, which will be available shortly. In the meantime learn how you can use an alternative here.
Can the podium be set to match the slope at the beginning of the putt?
While the podium has four levels of adjustability so that you are always at the same height as your putt, it doesn't have specific slope adjustment, so when stood on, the surface of the podium is flat.
